“Minn Pjazza għal Pjazza – Rabat”: Turning Board Games into Life-Sized Adventures
On 12th July 2025, Twist Events partnered with the Rabat Local Council to bring something truly magical to the heart of Rabat. Under the grand façade of St Paul’s Church, Rabat’s main square transformed into a world of oversized joy, where families played culture, laughter resounded, and nostalgia came alive.

A Square Turned Playground
As part of the nationwide summer initiative “Minn Pjazza għal Pjazza”, our mission was simple yet bold: reimagine classic board games in fun, interactive, life-sized formats—right in Rabat’s main piazza

Giant Games with Cultural Flair
Participants enjoyed a grand lineup of familiar favorites—Guess Who?, Deal or No Deal, Battleships, and even a life-sized quiz show. To add a local twist, we created a Roman catacomb game, maintained an around-the-fire show, and offered classic Roman-themed challenges.

A Day of Shared Moments
The square throbbed with energy as hundreds of families explored, laughed, and connected through playful competition and shared memories. The inclusive setting effortlessly bridged generations, inspiring both children and adults to leap into action.
A True Collaboration
This event couldn’t have happened without the trust and support of the Rabat Local Council. From funding and logistics to promotion, their support allowed us to transform an iconic public space into a vibrant, cultural playground.
Bringing Communities Together
Beyond a night of games, Minn Pjazza għal Pjazza reimagined community engagement. The square became a stage—not for singers, but for storytelling, culture, and creativity. It affirmed what happens when institutions and creative teams come together with vision and purpose.
